International Labor Day, also known as "May Day International Labor Day" and "International Workers' Day" (International Workers' Day or May Day), is a national holiday in more than 80 countries in the world. Set on May 1st each year. It is a festival shared by working people all over the world.
In July 1889, the Second International led by Engels held a congress in Paris. The meeting passed a resolution stipulating that May 1st, 1890, international laborers should hold a march and decided to designate May 1st as the International Labor Day. The Chinese People's Government's Government Affairs Council made a decision in December 1949, which confirmed May 1 as Labor Day. After 1989, the State Council of China commends national labor models and advanced workers every five years, and commends about 3,000 people each time.May Day is one of a legal holiday in China.
China's 2020 Labor Day holiday is from May 1st to May 5th. Kindly noted.
