Slovenian National Assembly passes bill banning the sale of single-use plastics

According to the Slovenian News Agency on October 19, 2021. On October 19, 2021, the National Assembly of Slovenia conducted a second review of the Bill on Banning the Sale of Single-Use Plastic Products.

The Ban on Sale of Single-Use Plastic Products Bill was submitted to the National Assembly by a panel of 39 MPs, with the first signator being MaSa Kociper (SAB Party), a member of the National Assembly.

The National Assembly group stated its position in the first instance in early July - "The proposed law prohibits the placing on the Slovenian market of all oxidatively degradable plastic products and single-use plastic products, including plastic cutlery, plates, straws, cotton swabs, Drink sticks, balloon sticks and food containers.

As the pollution of "white plastic" becomes more and more serious, it has a greater and greater impact on our lives. Reducing the use of single-use plastic products is important to protect our environment.

The degradable and compostable bagasse lunch box of Shenglin Packaging is the best product to replace single-use plastic products. The bagasse trays, bagasse bowls, and bagasse lunch boxes packaged by Shenglin are all degradable disposable environmentally friendly tableware, which can protect the environment well.
